Varsha Vyas’s journey as a professional artist began way back in 2005, with a group show in the esteemed Museum Gallery, Mumbai. An innate love for nature, animals & adventure, strongly influences her art. Some of her major shows were, Connection with the Elements, a necessity for nature to flourish. S.O.S’ a series on wildlife conservation. To the point of Abstraction, where she connected abstraction in art. Dreams, Hopes & Illusions, of humans expressed through symbolic representatives of nature. Her current series of flowers & butterflies is to emphasise the need to preserve the fast diminishing, beautiful world of take the road less travelled, compels her to use the technique of POINTILLISM, a slow & tedious process rarely followed in today’s world of speed. Pointillism also gives a mystical, surrealistic feel to her paintings. It reinforces her simple compositions with a subtle vibrancy and rhythm.
